The Lion and Unicorn

Getting off the train at Waterloo and fancy a bevvy in a proper pub but can't be arsed walking down The Liver? The Lion and Unicorn is the place for you. It's really big inside and has a Heated Smoking Area!

Ale - 4/5 - Can only be described as a Wild Selection. With a massive choice of drinks on tap ranging from 'H Mild' to something called 'Ruddles Smooth' you'll never be short of a new drink to try.
Toilets - 1/5 - Already had a pissy floor at 5:30 in the afternoon. Tiny sink. The throne has a window and no lock - Surfboard required.
TV - 5/5 They're everywhere. Plus a projector for the footy. Busy when Liverpool play.
Staff - Quick staff, neither friendly nor hostile.
Decor - Clean but nothing really stands out.
Atmosphere - Ages 30-OAP. This is a proper pub full of working class salt-of-the-earth people. Always has a good friendly atmosphere.
Local Nutter - The Manageress. She's been known to barr people for throwing a piece of paper on the floor.

Things to do - As well as the usual fruit machines and quiz machine, this place gives you 2 pool tables, an amazing jukebox, a cash machine, and (suprisingly) a spiderman pinball machine! If you can get the bloke from behind the bar to stop playing it, it's worth a go because the monthly high score wins a prize.

Overall - 6/10
